Zeke Will Be The Easter Bunny If The Twins Lose Tonight

Bunny

The Twins are 0-4 to start the year. They got swept by the St. Louis Cardinals (a team that’s offseason highlights were trading Paul Goldschmidt and releasing Kyle Gibson) to start the year. Yesterday, MARTIN PEREZ kept the Twins hitless for 6 innings in a 9-0 White Sox (who, last year, was the worst team in the history of baseball) win. The Twins have been outscored 28-6 in their first three games. I need a reason to cheer for the Twins. They’re back in Chicago tonight for a 6:40 first pitch facing rookie Shane Smith. Smith has only appeared in five games above the AA level. I reeeeeeally need a Twins win. Like, bad. The Gopher Hockey team got knocked out of the playoffs on a controversial call. The Wild forgot how to win games. For some reason, there is still Aaron-Rodgers-To-The-Vikings rumors floating around. I’m going to double-down on Minnesota sadness tonight. Next weekend, April 12th, the Washington Square Mall in Detroit Lakes is hosting their annual Easter Fun Day. They’ve got a free showing of Peter Rabbit at the Cinemagic Cinema 7 at 10:00. From 11:30-1:30, they have decorate cupcakes for sale at La Barista, a Make and Take Easter Bunny project at DL Floral, plus a free Easter Egg Relay at Bucks Mill Brewing, Collect an Easter Egg at Maurices, face painting AND free pictures with the Easter Bunny. I saw a post that the mall was still looking for somebody to be the easter bunny that day. So, here’s my Twins incentive: IF THE TWINS DON’T WIN TONIGHT, I WILL BE THE DETROIT LAKES EASTER BUNNY ON APRIL 12TH. 8 The costume is hot. And, frankly, a little terrifying. But, if the Twins can’t beat Shane Smith and the White Sox tonight, I will be in there taking pictures with your kids for two hours in the middle of my Saturday. Twins…don’t let me down.
