Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight is Matthew Wegscheid, a sophomore on the WDC boy’s wrestling team!

Matthew got a pin to seal a win for WDC against Pelican Rapids last week!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head wrestling coach Brad Wollum had to say about Matthew’s performance last week.

“Matthew stepped up big when his team needed him against Pelican Rapids and he also beat a state ranked opponent from Frazee! He certainly has potential to do great things!”
