Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight is Lydia Oldakowski, a sophomore on the WDC cross country team!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head cross country coach Mike Brunsberg had to say about Lydia’s performance last week.

“Sophomore Lydia Oldakowski ran to her third consecutive PARK REGION ALL CONFERENCE honor last week at Whitetail Run–her 6th place finish being her best ever. She’s been the Wolverine’s number one runner every race this season and recently posted one of the all time best 5K times in school history with a 20:17 finish in Perham. All of these rewards are a natural extension of her aggressive work ethic in practice…stepping up with her teammates to be their best, one day at a time. Congratulations to her for FINISHING STRONG!”
