Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight is Grant Nelson, a sophomore on the WDC cross country team!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head cross country coach Mike Brunsberg had to say about Grant’s performance last week.

“Grant has stepped into this season seeking to fill the void left by last year’s graduating seniors—who were the Wolverine boys’ top three runners last year. So far, he has done so. Not only in practice, but also by running his early season races 2-3 minutes faster than last year…highlighted by his first ever race win last week at the Sonnenberg farm course in New York Mills.”
