Our first Wolverine Player Spotlight for the 2024 spring sports season puts the focus on Amber Collins, a junior on the WDC girls track & field team!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head track & field coach Marc Reynolds had to say about Amber’s performance last week.

“Amber got her season off to a great start picking up a 1st place finish in the 400 meter dash and a 3rd place finish in long jump last week. She also led off the 4th place finishing 4X200 meter relay. Its been a crazy first month of the season with many kids being pulled in different directions, but we should be settling in here in April and we are excited to see how Amber progresses from last season.”
