This week’s Wolverine Player of the Week is senior baseball player Zach Shaw.

As a leadoff hitter, Zach really had a standout performance in his teams season opening 9-0 win over Parkers Prairie going 2-5 with two doubles, 2 RBIs, and 3 runs scored. It’s exactly what head coach Kyle Dykhoff hoped to see out of his senior,

“Zach ignited our season with a lead off double that set the tone for our first game in a long time. He has been tearing the cover off the ball in practice and it was great to see it carry over in the first game of the season.”
