Our next Wolverine Player of the Week is senior Nordic Skier Bjorn Brunsberg!

Bjorn had one of the best performance in the WDC Nordic ski program’s short history. He recorded a first place finish at the team’s meet in Fergus Falls on Saturday.

Here is what Wolverine head Nordic Skiing coach Terry Olson had to say about Bjorn’s performance last week.

“Bjorn started in the second wave which was 15 seconds behind the eventual runner up. After the first lap, he had made up that time gap and widened the lead on the second gap. The race was about four miles. The most important attribute that Bjorn demonstrates is the ability to ski aggressively but you have to be a technically sound skier. He had a great meet.”
