SuperOne Foods in Wadena and their customers have made a point to help out the community. In the checkout line, they are rounding up or donating part of their bill and all that spare change adds up and the funds are donated to organizations across the Wadena and surrounding areas. Another group was the beneficiary of the area’s generosity earlier this week.

The Wadena Fire Department was given a donation by SuperOne Foods on Wednesday that will be used on new equipment.

Wadena Super One customers helped raise $1,220.28 for the Wadena Fire Department Relief Organization. The funds raised for the Wadena Fire Dept. Relief Organization will go towards helping them purchase a new grass fire-fighting vehicle.
