WADENA, Minn.– A group of Wadena-Deer Creek students are hosting an event to help give an important resource to medical professionals in the area.
The WDC National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive at the Maslowski Wellness and Research Center next week to give more blood in central Minnesota.
WDC juniors Addison Carr, Jenna Dykhoff and Addyson Gravelle are organizing the Blood Drive for their NHS project. Students will help lead the blood drive with the American Red Cross at the Mas on Tuesday, May 21. The blood drive will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 2 p.m.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling 1-800-733-2767. You can also make an appointment by going online to RedCrossBlood.org (Enter Maslowski Wellness) or download the American Red Cross Blood Donor app.
