WADENA, Minn.– Two Wadena organizations are working together to help those in the area achieve better positive mental health.
The Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce and Wadena County Public Health are teaming up to offer a presentation called Positive Psychology at The Depot On Thursday to promote mental health across the area.
This event is sponsored by Wadena County Public Health and the Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Minnesota.
The free workshop focusing on mental health will take place on Thursday, April 18 from 10-11 a.m. at The Wadena Depot. According to organizers, “Positive Psychology” is the scientific study of what makes life most worth living. With the approach focused on strengths instead of weaknesses. Speaker Danielle Thorton will teach attendees new exercises to help you lead a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
