VERNDALE, Minn.– The Verndale community will be busy this week as Verndale Days Celebrations return for 2024.

Here is the schedule of activities for the weekend:

Friday, July 26

6 p.m. – close – Pirates Den parking lot party and open ceremonies

7 p.m. – The Pirates Den adult playground opens

Saturday, July 27

8:30 a.m. – Raiders Run and 2 Mile Race starts

9 a.m. – 4 person golf scramble to benefit Verndale sports at Vintage Golf Course in Staples

• Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

9 a.m. – Volleyball Tournament at The Pirates Den

2 p.m. – Bean Bag Tournament in the park

2 – 5 p.m. – Verndale Historic Building will be open to the public

6 p.m. – Grand Parade

6:30 p.m. – Messy Bessy

• $5 per square each board. 2 boards

6:30 p.m. – Duck Drop’

9 p.m. – Fireworks

9 p.m. – 1 a.m. – Street dance music
