WADENA, Minn.– For the second time this season, a Wadena-Deer Creek boys basketball player reaches the four-figure milestone.
Senior guard Teshe Loer scored his 1,000th point this Saturday night at home against East Grand Forks. This is the second time a Wolverine accomplished the feat. Fellow senior guard Peyton Church got career point no. 1,000 in December this season in Verndale.
Besides earning the career mileston, Loer also helped his team get a 75-60 win over Section 8AA foe East Grand Forks. Loer finished the game with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Wadena-Deer Creek boys basketball owns a 9-3 record on the season. The team has a 2-1 record in Section 8AA and is currently second in the Park Region Conference standings with a 6-1 record in the PRC.
