PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn.– The Parkers Prairie Lions Club has great news for smelt lovers.
The organization announced that after a two year absence that the smelt fry is returning Saturday. Festivities will take place at the Parkers Prairie Event Center starting at noon and going until 7 p.m. as the event returns after a two year absence.
Smelt won’t be the only item on the menu. Fish and chicken strips will also be available Saturday. Additional items on the menu is fish and chicken strips along with famous fries, coleslaw, and buttered rolls.
Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. There will be a free will donation to benefit the Parkers Prairie 8th grade student’s science trip.
