CLARISSA, Minn.– As the regular season for boys basketball wraps up across central Minnesota, one scorer was able to hit a big milestone this week.
Christian Berg of the Sebeka Trojans scored the 1,000th point of his Sebeka basketball career Thursday night against Browerville/Eagle Valley in Clarissa! The milestone came in a 25 point effort from Berg, who reached his 1,000th point by making a three-point shot early in the second half.
The Tigers came away with a 86-75 Section 5A win over the Trojans. Sebeka is 10-14 on the season with a 6-4 section record and a 6-8 record in the Park Region Conference. Currently, the Trojans sit as the no. 5 seed in the section standings and will try to climb up the list with two more games left in this season. The final two games of the season at Hill City on Tuesday, Feb. 27 and will host Mille Lacs on Friday, March 1.
