WADENA, Minn.– Friday morning on THE BIG SHOW with Corey Tackmann of the Superstation K106 and Dana Cantleberry, Executive Director of the Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce, launched a special announcement: Rocket Club is coming to Wadena to perform at this year’s June Jubilee’s concert!
Last year’s concert featured Minnesota native Aaron Simmons, who wrote the song Nobody’s Home In Wadena. Rocket Club is getting ready to fill those shoes and blast off with another great concert for Wadena’s June Jubilee on June 8 at BN Park in downtown Wadena.
The Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce and the Superstation K106 are partnering to to bring Rocket Club to Wadena as part of June Jubilee’s festivities.
Tickets for Rocket Club’s Wadena concert on June 8th can be bought now! General admission tickets are $10 with no credit card fees attached and can be bought by clicking here. Paper tickets will be made available for purchase at a later date.
Rocket Club is a 6-member band based in Minneapolis. The group has even opened for Eric Church and just dropped their 5th studio album, “Come On Home.” They’re going to rock the house with with lyrics the band wrote that are tied to Minnesota living, including their song North Country, which was released in 2011. This song describes Minnesota’s “Up North” anthem. North Country spent nine weeks on the Hot Country Billboard charts!
