PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn.– The Minnesota BCA, Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department, and Pelican Rapids Police Department are warning the public about an armed and dangerous suspect on the loose following a shooting in Otter Tail County Sunday.

According to a post on the OTC Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the Otter Tail County Sheriffs Office received a call of a shooting located in the city of Pelican Rapids. Upon Pelican Rapids Police arrival, the suspect, Phoutthasa Prathane, had fled the area. The victim was transported from the scene. Officers are currently looking for the suspect, Prathane.

Suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous, do not approach notify Law Enforcement via 911 if seen.

He was last seen leaving the area in a black 2011 Toyota Tundra with the Minnesota license plate number 1092CD. The vehicle is a 4 Door with wrap around brush guard on front.
