NEW YORK MILLS, Minn.– A big decision has come from the New York Mills School Board after they voted to install a new leader in the school district.
The New York Mills School Board has voted to select Adam Johnson as the school district’s next Superintendent. Johnson is currently a teacher at Hill City School.
“We had a large pool of candidates to choose from and are excited about moving forward in this next chapter for New York Mills schools,” said Wendy Hetland, Board Chair via a Facebook post.
The School Board will be conducting contract negotiations with Johnson. A contract is expected to be approved by the School Board at an upcoming school board meeting.
The pending start date for Johnson will be July 1, 2024.
