PARK RAPIDS, Minn.– Last week, a Gabi Shepersky of Park Rapids Area girls basketball recorded her 1,000th career point. Now, Noah Larson, a senior on the boys basketball team for the Panthers has hit the career milestone.
Larson needed 8 points to reach 1,000 career points Monday night against Staples-Motley. He finished the game with 18 points and was able to break the 4-figure mark on his home floor in front of the home fans.
Park Rapids Area, behind Larson and others, continue a solid season with a 14-7 overall record. Currently, the Panthers are second in the Section 8AA standing behind only Pelican Rapids.
