NEW YORK MILLS, Minn.– A yearly tradition in New York Mills is back for the community to celebrate another summer together.

New York Mills Summer Festival will take place this Friday and Saturday with activities throughout the community, including the Lund Mania Fishing Tournament.

Here is the full list of activities for Friday and Saturday

Friday, July 12

• 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Fish House Festival on Main Ave
• 12 p.m. – The Great Boat Hunt begins
• 12-4 p.m. – “Lundekr Lake” kid’s casting game on Main Ave
• 1-5 p.m. – Free swim at the NYM Legried Community Pool
• 4-7 p.m. – Fish fry and other vendors
• 4-7 p.m. – Kids inflatables
• 4-7 p.m. – Pie and ice cream social
• 4:30-5:30 p.m. – The Boatville Drags
• 5:30 p.m. – Lund Mania Fishing Tournament results and ceremony
• 6:30 p.m. – Fish house and live auction
• 7 p.m. – Annual Parade
• 9 p.m. – Street dance with “Whiskey Business” performing

Saturday, July 13

• 9 a.m. – Lund Mania 3-on-3 basketball tournament
• 1 p.m. – Mills Messy & Mighty Fun Run at Smith Park Field/Track
