CLARISSA, Minn.– Summer Fest 2024 is back in Clarissa for another year of big events in the community.

Here is a list of this weekend’s activities:

Friday, July 26

4:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Pie and ice cream social at United Methodist Church

8 p.m. – 12 a.m. – Clarissa Fire Department Fundraiser Dance

Saturday, July 27

9 a.m. – 5K walk or run, sponsored by the pink flamingo

8 – 11 a.m. – Clarissa Fireman pancake breakfast at the fire hall

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Car show

Free family events starting at noon on Saturday

– Due to the flooding in the park this summer the FREE FAMILY events on Saturday July 27th will be held up by the senior center on Frank Street
– Carnival games – Under the tent – noon to 3pm. Co-sponsored by the Todd County 4-H Leaders council and the Clarissa Community club.
– Rock Painting – Sponsored by Shepherd of the Valley Church, noon to 3pm.
– Balloon Artist – under the tent – noon to 3pm. Sponsored by the Clarissa Community Club
– Bounce Houses with water slide – noon to 5pm. Sponsored by the Clarissa Community Club
– Michael Graves – Magic & Comedy Show 3:30 under the tent – bring your own lawn chair. In case of rain this event with be held in the Clarissa Senior Center. Sponsored by the Clarissa Ballroom.

6 p.m. – Grand Parade
8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. – Out Door Concert at 8:30 featuring Nashville Singer/Song writer Dan Brekke Band.
10 p.m. – Fireworks at Dust

Sunday, July 28

11 a.m. – Community Church Service in parking lot

12 – 1 p.m. – Sloppy joe lunch in park after church service
