Cold Front Kurre spent much of his career with the DNR working to get kids and youth on the water and in the woods. His goal of mentorship was to make the outdoors a continuous (not once a season) part of a kid’s life. Now, with Covid-19 shutting down much of society for a time (but not the outdoors), youth and adult fishing license sales are hitting record numbers. We get his thoughts on that, on what should happen next, and we also discuss the other thing he spent time on, state record fish.
