BERTHA, Minn.– A Bertha-Hewitt boys basketball scorer reached a career milestone that has not been hit in the program in nearly a decade.
Bertha-Hewitt’s Preston Miller scored his 1,000th career point Thursday night at home against Henning! Miller needed 19 points to reach the 4-figure threshold and three free throws at the end of the game got him at exactly 19 points.
The Bears are currently 11-5 on the season, 4-3 in the Park Region Conference, and 7-1 in Section 5A play.
Miller reached a big scoring mark for the Bears boys basketball team. The last time that happened in program history was when Jordan Frethem scored his 1,000th point for B-H in 2016.
