BERTHA, Minn.– A yearly tradition in Bertha returns this weekend for Bertha Days 2024. A medallion hunt worth $50 starts on Thursday. Community wide garage sales all weekend long.
Here is the itinerary for the festivities.
Friday, July 12
- 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Bertha Museum opens to the public
- 6 p.m. – Coin Dig by walking bridge
- 6:30 p.m. – Registration for Kids Pedal Pull at Tractor Pull Area
- 9 p.m. – Truck/Tractor/ATV Light Parade
Saturday, July 13
- 7:15-8 a.m. – Registration for Bear Chase & 5K Walk Run
- 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Bertha Museum opens to the public, face painting, & caricatures
- 10 a.m. – Truck & Tractor pull begins
- 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. – Petting zoo, Kids Water Soaking Station, & Sports Boosters Penny Auction Ticket sales open at Fire Hall
- 11 a.m. – Sloppy Joe & pulled pork lunch at Bertha Community Center, sponsored by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church
- 12 p.m. – Live music & cake walk downtown
- 2 p.m. – Ice cream social, Buford’s Bar & Grill
- 6 p.m. – Kiddie parade begins, lineup for grand parade
- 7 p.m. – Grand parade begins
- 7 p.m. – B-H Sports Boosters Penny Auction winners drawn, bike winners drawing held
- 8:30 p.m. – Street Dance with music by Audio Throttle
Sunday, July 14
- 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Free will offering pancake feed, sponsored by Bertha Days Planning Committee
- 11 a.m. – Bloody Mary’s & mimosas specials, free will offering, proceeds go to Bertha Days Planning Committee
