WADENA, Minn.– A benefit will take place next month in Wadena for longtime radio announcer and community figure and Brad Williams to help with funds and support navigating their journey.
The benefit for Williams will take place on Saturday, October 12 from 4-8 p.m. at the Wadena County 4-H Building. There will be a meal, raffle, split the pot, silent auction, and a live auction.
There are also drop off options for donations at the Wadena City Library and Magnifi Financial in Wadena. Monetary donations can be sent to “Brad Cantleberry Benefit” Account at Magnifi Financial in Wadena.

According to the benefit organizers,
“Brad Williams is a longtime radio announcer on Superstation K106, was diagnosed on July 11th with Stage 4, Diffused Large B-Cell Lymphoma (cancer). Known for his Waylong Wednesdays, and his dedication to his craft, Brad has been a familiar presence in the lives of many radio listeners over the years.
Brad is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for his cancer. All proceeds from the benefit will help pay for current and future medical expenses. This event is not just about raising funds, it’s a chance to show Brad and his family that they are not alone in this fight and that the community stands behind them with love and support. Brad and his family reside near Deer Creek. Please join us in helping Brad as he navigates this difficult journey.”
