Amateur Hour, the bi-weekly town baseball segment covering all of the squads across central Minnesota hosted by CJ Baumgartner, is back and better than ever in 2024! Like a year ago, we will put out the weekend’s schedule on Fridays and first thing Monday morning we will have a recap of the weekend’s action.

Here are a few early season storylines to keep an eye on as the season begins.

• NEW TEAMS:
  • Dent DiamondHawks have re-entered amateur baseball and will compete in the Hi-10 league
  • Henning returns to amateur baseball. Instead of the Giants, their nickname this time around is the “Henning Northstars” and also compete in the Hi-10
• Bluffton Braves, defending Region 14C champions, are not eligible to compete in this year’s postseason
• The New York Mills Millers are coming off of a state tournament appearance and their first-ever state tournament win
