Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight puts the focus on Montana Carsten, a senior on the Wadena-Deer Creek girls basketball team!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head girls basketball coach Jordan Cresap had to say about Montana’s performance last week and all season long.

“Montana has been playing well as of late. She has been in double figure scoring in 5 of our last 6 games. She hit 7 threes against Verndale to put herself over the 1,000 career point mark. She has been great defensively for us as well, recording at least two steals in each of the last 6 games. She has shown some good leadership and continues to help the team in many different ways.”
