Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight puts the focus on Addi Fink, a sophomore on the Wadena-Deer Creek boys hockey team!

Addi made history for the Wolverine hockey team. Playing with the boys, she hit feats this week as the only girl to score her first point. She then added to her historic week with her virst varsity goal in a 9-7 victory over Park Rapids Area!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head boys hockey coach Robby Grendahl had to say about Addi’s performance last week.

“We are very happy with Addison’s progress as a Varsity Hockey Player!  She was undoubtedly a major factor in the Hwy 71 Cup victory at Park Rapids because of her strong defensive play!  We are so proud of her willingness to put the team first and do what it takes to help out every time she is on the ice!  She has come to the rink every day with a solid work ethic and a positive attitude that shows up in all that she does!”
