BAXTER, Minn.— UPDATE (10/15): Highway 210 will remain closed between Highway 10 and Front Street until early evening Wednesday, Oct. 23. Motorists are encouraged to monitor www.511mn.org for current travel information.

Those who travel on Highway 210 in Staples, Todd County, should plan for short-term delays and a detour as Burlington Northern Santa Fe crews work at the railroad crossing Oct. 14–18, reports the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Highway 210 will close between Highway 10 and Front Street at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, until 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18. Motorists will follow a detour along County Road 21 (Wisconsin Avenue Southwest), Front Street, Airport Road, Cardinal Drive and back to Highway 210.

Good weather conditions are necessary to complete this work.
