HEWITT, Minn.– This weekend is a pretty big dill in Hewitt. The 2024 Hewitt Pickle Festival returns for another summer.

Here is a list of the weekend’s festivities.

Friday, July 19

• 5-7 p.m. – Hewitt Lions Annual Pork Chop or Chicken Dinner – Hewitt Community Center
  • Tickets are $15 for adults at the door and $7 for kids 10 and under at the door

Saturday, July 20

• 8 a.m. – Carmel rolls and garage sale at Hewitt Community Church
• 9 a.m. – Silent Auction at Hewitt Service Center
• 10 a.m. – Coin dig
• 11 a.m. – Sloppy Joe lunch at Hewitt Community Church
• 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Petting Zoo
• 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 a.m. – Bouncy Houses and face painting
• 12 p.m. – Parade
• 12:45 – 3:45 p.m. – Obstacle course and bouncy houses at Nazarene Church
• 1 p.m. – Kids water wars – Hewitt Fire Department
• 1 p.m. – Truck and tractor pull – sponsored by Woodtick Lounge
• 2 – 5 p.m. – Leaf River Pottery – Paint your own pottery at Hewitt Community Center
• 8 p.m. – Street Dance at Woodtick Lounge
