WADENA, Minn.– A big Easter event in Wadena is once again offering kids a fun experience and, oh yeah, a whole lot of candy.
UPDATE: Dana Cantleberry, Executive Director of the Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce, announced that the Wadena Area Chamber’s Easter Egg Hunt is moving indoors to Wadena-Deer Creek Middle/High School on Saturday, March 30. Doors open at 12:45 p.m. with the hunt starting at 1 p.m. sharp.
Open to children ages 1 -10, this “egg”-citing hunt will start at 1 p.m. sharp. The hunt is split into three age groups, 1-3, 4-6, and 7-10. Kids will snatch up plastic eggs with candy and a chance to win some neat prizes donated by local businesses.
“Don’t forget to bring a basket or bag for gathering up your eggs,” said Cantleberry. “We have 14,500 eggs ready for kiddos to snatch up on Saturday, March 30 for the Easter Egg Hunt!”
The Easter Bunny is hoping to hop on over for the hunt, too.
