Luverne Redbirds – 0 vs. Bluffton – 1
- A complete game shutout from Jake Dykhoff earns the Braves a spot into the final eight of the Class C tourney. The lone run scored on a passed ball.
Sunday, September 3
Bluffton – 1 @ Delano A’s – 0
- Another complete game shutout, this time coming from draftee Kolby Kiser (Sebeka Stingers). He threw 9 shutout innings with 4 hits allowed and struck out 10 batters in the win to advance to the semi-finals. Jake Dykhoff drove in the lone Braves run.
Maple Lake Lakers – 8 vs. Bluffton – 6
- Bluffton’s season comes to a close in an offensive affair to the eventual state champion Lakers.
- Austin Redemske hits a grand slam to earn a team-leading 4 RBIs in the game
