VINING, Minn.– A tradition of Norwegian heritage is returning to Folden this weekend.
The Sons of Norway and the Folden Church are holding a Syttende Mai Dinner on Sunday, May 15 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Folden Church off County road 40 near Vining. A Sons of Norway program will also take place at 2:15 p.m. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available.
Food on the menu for the dinner includes meatballs, real mashed potatoes, dark and white gravy, corn and coleslaw, and of course lefse, sweet soup and rommegrote, along with other Scandinavia treats. Dinner is all you can eat. Tickets for children six and under are free, ages 7-12 are $7, and ages 12 and up are $14 per ticket.
