The Minnesota Baseball Coaches Association released their preseason rankings for the upcoming 2022 season and they’re loaded with teams from central Minnesota.
The preseason #1 in Class A is Hayfield but central Minnesota is well represented with New York Mills at #2, Ashby at #5, and Sebeka is tied at #10 with Adrian-Ellsworth.

The preseason #1 in Class AA is Glencoe-Silver Lake. Once again, central Minnesota is all over the list with Perham at #2, Wadena-Deer Creek at #3, Foley at #5, Albany at #6, and Aitkin at #10. It’s worth noting that Wadena-Deer Creek, Foley, and Albany all represent Section 6AA. WDC also joins New York Mills and Sebeka (both in Class A) from the Park Region Conference ranked in the top 10.
