BERTHA, Minn.– Bertha-Hewitt Community Education is offering two kinds of classes during the beginning of April.
The first community education class will be on Sunday, April 2 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Bertha Community Center. Participants will learn how to make homemade vanilla extract and gain valuable information about homemade extracts. Those in the class will be able to walk away with their own Madagascar vanilla extract to take home.

Another class being offered is for those 55 and older. Those in need of a defensive driving refresher can do just that on Wednesday, April 6 for 55-plus drivers in Bertha and Eagle Bend. The Eagle Bend class is from 12:30-4:30 p.m. at the Hilltop Regional Kitchen. A free lunch will be provided at noon before the class. The Bertha class is from 5-9 p.m. at the Bertha-Hewitt school library.
