PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn.– The 2nd Annual Oktoberfest returns to Thousand Lakes Brewing in Parkers Prairie on Friday and Saturday.
Festivities kick off with the ceremonial keg tapping at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Music will go from 6-9 p.m. with a performance from the Jerry & Joyce Polka Band. Food will be available on Friday and Saturday featuring brats and sauerkraut from Immanuel Lutheran in Parkers Prairie, Papa Don’s burgers and wings, and TLBS soft pretzels.
There will also be a 0.8K/5K Beer Run, Nagelbalken (nail pounding competition), stein holding contests, along with Das Boot giveaways. Vendors and activities for Saturday will include Redhead Creamery, Savvy Sisters, Tastefully simple, R. Bottled Gold CBD, Sieling Woodworking, Art Bar 39, Archery Painting and more, Miltona Greenhouse, Beer Bottle Succulunt, and potting.
Music will return on Saturday as well with Rounds & Reimer Polka from 12-3 p.m. followed by a street dance with a performance by The Mudwugs. Parking will be available at the Prairie Event Center in Parkers Prairie.
