2024 Parkers Prairie Harvest Festival Looks For A Bountiful Weekend

PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn.– It’s a busy time in the middle of town festival season. If you’re looking for something to do in the first weekend of August, those in Parkers Prairie have you covered with the return of the Parkers Prairie Harvest Festival!

Here is the full list of festivities for the weekend:

Thursday, August 1

  • 7 p.m. – Miss Parkers Prairie Pageant at Grace Christian Church

Friday, August 2

  • 3 – 6 p.m. – Prairie Farmers Market at city park
  • 5 p.m. Ring of Fire rodeo gates open
  • 7 p.m. Ring of Fire bull riding (rain or shine)
  • 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. – Blonde & The Bohunk

Saturday, August 3

  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Trowbridge Creek Mobile Zoo
  • 10 a.m. – Crafters and retailers and face painting
  • 10 a.m. – Jr. park medallion hunt ages 15 and under
  • 11 a.m. – Sr. city medallion hunt ages 16 and older
  • 11 a.m. Pickleball tournament at elementary school tennis courts
  • 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. – Bingo at city park
  • 12 – 2 p.m. – Rock painting at city park
  • 1 p.m. – Jr. bean bag tournament, ages 15 and under, at north end of city park
  • 2 p.m. – Sr. bean bag tournament, ages 16 and older, at north end of city park
  • 2 – 6:30 p.m. – Rip & Roar Car Show sponsored by Rust Junkies on East Soo Street (free will offering)
  • 3 – 6 p.m. – Rhythm & Rhyme Band at Parkers Prairie City Park
  • 4 p.m. – Belly flop contest at swimming pool
  • 5 – 6 p.m. – Sidewalk chalk art contest on east side of pool
  • 7 p.m. – Burnout contest on east side of pool
  • 8 p.m. – 12 a.m. – Runestone Rebellion at Parkers Prairie City Park
  • 10 p.m. – Fireworks

Sunday, August 4

  • 7 – 11 a.m. – Scout pancake breakfast at Prairie Event Center
  • 10 a.m. – Community worship service at bingo shelter
  • 10 a.m. – Crafters and retailers
  • 11 a.m. – Bouncy and kid’s games at city park, east side
    • Inflatables, water saloon wars, and more
  • 12 p.m. – Fall Festival Parade
    • Princess Tea for visiting royalty after parade at Prairie Event Center
  • 1 – 5 p.m. – Bingo at city park
  • 2 – 5 p.m. “Short on Cash” performing at Parkers Prairie City Park
  • 2:30 p.m. – Pedal Pull for ages 4-11 years old, sponsored by Parkers Prairie FFA
